Which of the following is correct regarding karinas statement that there was no contract?

Berrigan Shire Council operates an electronic system for tendering and quotations. This has been designed to improve the speed, efficiency & fairness of the tender process for the Council and its suppliers.

Individuals and organisations wishing to supply goods and services to the Council are required to comply with the Council's statement of Business Ethics. See below for a copy of the statement or download a PDF version here.

Tenders and Quotes will be listed below when open to the public.  If there are currently no listings present then there are no tenders or quotes open to the public.

The canvassing of Councillors and/or senior staff will disqualify a tender.

Local Supplier Engagement - via Vendorpanel

Benefits for Suppliers

Berrigan Shire Council is now using VendorPanel to manage the Councils local preferred suppliers. This includes a range of supplier relationships - from formally selected panels, to pre-qualified supplier lists and informal contractor pools. VendorPanel gives Local Suppliers an easy and consistent way to hear about contract opportunities from Council.  Easy to setup – just add your business details and relevant compliance documents.  Provides a consistent RFQ format and process.  Simplifies management of Compliance documents for Council.  Gives Council staff an easy way to send out quotes, increasing the chances of you hearing about contracts.  Allows you to manage multiple supplier lists from one account.

Easily download reports on all the requests you received, with a record of what you responded to.

Getting Set-up on VendorPanel

Responding to Council requests

When a new relevant request is created, you’ll be sent an email asking you to login to VendorPanel to view the request. You can then use the Q&A functionality to clarify the requirements, and respond using the easy to follow response wizard.

Response Wizard

Submitting responses is done via a simple to use Response Wizard, that steps you through the process of creating a response to the Council request. You can type in the details of your response, or attach a response document. When you have submitted a response, you will receive an email confirming your submission. Additionally, there is a record of all the responses you have previously submitted.
