Samsung 980 Pro wird im BIOS nicht erkannt

Ist eine 11000er oder eine 10000er CPU eingebaut? Ich meine irgendwo steht etwas, dass M2_1 nur mit 11000er CPU funktioniert. Evtl.
mal M2_2 testen? Oder BIOS evtl. nicht auf UEFI eingestellt? Meine 970 Evo M2 wird im BIOS mit i5 11600k einwandfrei erkannt.

Solution 1: Troubleshoot hardware faulty

The hardware faulty can prevent your SSD from being detected by BIOS. So you should check your SSD hardware and the corresponding ports, and make sure they are working properly.

In addition, you can switch to another SSD port and see if it can be detected by BIOS.

If the hardware works great and you’re having the problem, don’t worry. Move on to the next solution.

It’s likely that SATA controller mode is not set correctly and that’s why your SSD is not recognized by BIOS. So you can configure the SATA controller settings in BIOS.

Since the steps to configure BIOS are different due to the brands, so here we take Lenovo laptops as an example.

1. Restart your computer, and press the F2 key after the first screen.
2. Press the Enter key to enter Config.
3. Select Serial ATA and press Enter.
4. Then you’ll see SATA Controller Mode Option. Choose the IDE Compatibility Mode.
   
5. Save your changes and restart your computer to enter BIOS.

Now BIOS should be able to detect your SSD.

A missing or outdated device driver in your computer can cause your SSD not detected by BIOS, especially your SSD driver and motherboard driver. So you should keep your device drivers up to date.

Hallo, bin etwas überfragt.

Meine neue NVMe wird im BIOS ganz normal erkannt. Auch wenn ich z.B. Macrium Reflect per Bootstick starte wird sie erkannt, aber in Windows 10 nicht.

Er war kurz am Anfang im Gerätemanager vorhanden, dann habe ich ihn in der Datenträgerverwaltung formatiert, danach war er nicht mehr vorhanden und wird auch nicht mehr im Gerätemanager angezeigt.

Egal was ich jetzt einstelle, er wird nicht mehr in Windows angezeigt. Was kann ich noch tun?

Ich habe meinen Pc heute zusammen gebaut und bei der Installation von Windows 10 hat mein Pc meine SSD-Karte nicht erkannt. Im BIOS steht das sie nicht vorhanden ist.

Was kann ich tun?

Da hast dus.

Dein Prozessor, wenn es denn der 10900k ist, unterstützt kein PCIe 4.0, auf dem die SSD aber läuft. Das Mainboard schon.

Tipp: Bei Neubau alles zurückschicken und nen guten AMD Prozessor holen (5900x ist schneller und passt ins Budget)

Oder ne normale Nvme SSD z.B. WD Black Sn750. Der Unteschied ist nämlich im Hochfahren und Games-Laden fast nicht spürbar. Nur für Creator sind 980er und Co relevant.

Falls du noch andere Festplatten im PC hast dann stöpsel die mal ab, dass wirklich nur noch die NVMe drin ist. Manchmal hilft das schon.

Ich nehme mal an du hast die SSD im obersten M.2 Slot verbaut? In dem Fall ist es kein Wunder dass sie nicht angezeigt wird, der i9 10900K hat keine PCIe Lanes für diesen Slot - ein entsprechender Hinweis findet sich übrigens im Handbuch des Mainboards

Damit sie erkannt wird musst du einen der beiden PCIe 3.0 M.2 Slots nutzen

Du musst einfach auf Pci 3.0 wechseln.

Also zb Samsung SSD 970 Pro...

Deine die 980 Pro nutzt 4.0, was der Prozessor nicht unterstützt.
