What should you do to avoid cheating in online classes, even if your behavior was unintentional?

NOTE:  The list below was compiled from multiple sources.

Here are some tips and tricks that will help prevent cheating.

• Copy-paste. Our Exams don’t allow participants to copy-paste.
• Randomize questions. When taking tests, participants are often getting asked questions in the same sequence.
• Set a timer.
• Use Problem-solving questions.

How Students Cheat:

– Plagiarism – Conspire with others to obtain exam questions/answers in advance – Have someone else do the work – Look things up while taking exam (when not permitted) – Unauthorized collaboration – Illicitly obtain publisher’s test banks and solution manuals
