Samsung TV’s broadcasting feature is popular with many users. There is nothing more frustrating than when you go to use it and you either run into issues with your broadcast feature not working, or showing that broadcasting is currently unavailable. There are a few issues that could be behind your Samsung TV broadcasting not working.

If your Samsung TV broadcasting is not working, first check your broadcast settings. Select ‘Settings’ from your menu and scroll through until you find ‘Broadcast’. Select broadcast to ensure that the settings are working properly. You can also check to see if your Samsung TV is connected by checking the ‘Source’ menu.

This is the easiest way to fix the issue if your broadcasting services are not available on your Samsung TV. Let’s take a look at a few other factors that you could be facing and how to solve them.

Samsung TV Broadcasting Auto Program Not Available

Samsung SmartTV has a feature that can auto-scan and program your broadcasting channels. If you find that these channels are not showing up on your Samsung TV broadcasting, there is a simple trick that you can do to make the auto program functional again.

If your Samsung TV broadcasting auto program is not available, you will need to reset it. Press ‘Menu’ and scroll down to ‘Broadcast’. If the ‘Channel’ icon is not highlighted, go to ‘Sources’ and select ‘TV’ to turn on the source. Return to the ‘Menu’ and select ‘Channels’. There you will see the ‘Auto Program’. Once you select this, you will see several different options for what to auto-connect to.

Turn on both the air and cable channels. Because there are quite a few channels available, it will take a while for all of your channels to load. Depending on your availability, it can take up to 24 hours for all of your available channels to load on the auto program.

If your Samsung TV broadcast is grayed out or disabled, you should access your settings. Using your remote, press the ‘Home’ button and then click on the ‘Source’ button, which you can find in the top right corner of your remote. First, make sure that the ‘TV’ icon has a green check to ensure that the source is on. 

Next, go to the bottom of the screen and select ‘Settings’. This will bring up a list and if your source has been turned on, that ‘Broadcasting’ icon should no longer display as grey.

If that still doesn’t work, power off your Samsung Smart TV and use the remote to hit ‘Mute’, 1, 8, 2, and power. The ‘Service Menu’ will appear on the top left side. Using your remote, select ‘Control’ and scroll down to ‘Shop Option’. Once in there, make sure that ‘Peak Mode’ is off by turning the toggle to the off position. Turn your TV off and on again and check the ‘Source’ again.

Samsung TV Broadcasting This Function Is Not Available

If you keep getting an alert saying that ‘This function is not available ’ it is usually related to the poring of your remote to your Samsung TV. It could also mean that the broadcasting function is turned off. 

If your Samsung TV broadcasting is not working, you should first check to see that your broadcasting services are available. Enter the settings menu and first select ‘Source’, make sure that your TV shows that it is connected. If it isn’t, connect to the source and return to the settings menu. Samsung TV Broadcasting Menu Not Available

If your Samsung TV broadcasting menu is not available, not only will the ‘Broadcast’ icon in your menu be greyed out, but also when you attempt to access the menu, you will not be able to select any of the icons. They will all appear gray and inaccessible.

Using your remote, press the source button in the top right-hand corner and select ‘TV’. You want to change the source from HDMI to ATV. More often than not, when your Samsung TV broadcasting is not working, it is due to the settings being turned off. You can easily reset and restart them by accessing the ‘Broadcasting’ and ‘Source’ sections in the settings menu. If your Samsung TV is still not working or available, you can reset your Samsung TV and try your broadcasting services again.
