Die letzten Tage habe ich bei einigen meiner Android-Smartphones ein Problem entdeckt. Es steht ein App-Update für "Speech Services by Google" an, welches einfach nicht erfolgreich heruntergeladen und installiert werden kann. Aber man kann das Problem mit wenigen Schritten auflösen. Show Die Anzeige des hängenden Downloads findet sich in den Benachrichtigungen des Smartphones, die z.B. auf dem Sperrbildschirm angezeigt werden. Nachfolgend ist die Anzeige, die bereits seit fast einer Woche hängt, auf einem Android Smartphone zu sehen. Weg wischen in den Benachrichtigungen behebt das Ganze nur temporär. Als das auf mehreren Geräten auftrat, habe ich dann doch mal nachgeschaut, was dahinter steckt.
Sucht man im Internet nach "Android Update Speech services hängt" oder ähnlichen Begriffen, wird man auf viele Treffer stoßen. Wie es ausschaut, tritt der Fehler seit ca. 8. Januar 2022 auf so gut wie allen Android-Geräten auf, die noch Updates erhalten. Auf Google Play gibt es für die App seit einigen Wochen entsprechend negative Bewertungen.
Ich habe dann folgende Schritte unter Android versucht, um den hängen Download zu beenden und den Cache zu leeren.
Diese Schritte sollten zumindest dazu führen, dass der hängende Download verschwindet. Falls dieser Download wieder kommt, die obigen Schritte erneut ausführen und dann in der gezeigten Seite App-Info auf den Eintrag Deaktivieren tippen, um die Funktion abzuschalten. Und man kann die App, wie z.B. hier erwähnt, radikal deinstallieren, um den Spuk loszuwerden. Dieser Beitrag wurde unter Android, Problemlösung abgelegt und mit Android, Problem verschlagwortet. Even with auto update disabled it's still trying to update the app... i've tried to uninstall it but i don't have the option.... any ideas on how get it sorted?
